Overview

It is a national program established by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect Saudi families from the direct, indirect and expected impact of various economic reforms through the provision of cash transfers deposited directly in the accounts of the beneficiary citizens on a monthly basis.

The program is now being launched to realize that the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not be able to afford the reforms alone, especially those with low incomes. The upcoming new price adjustments for energy and water products will raise the cost of living in general.
