Mokafaaty Program

  • Mokafaaty Program is a program in which customers are automatically enrolled without the need for registration, and it offers you a 1% cashback on your purchases.
  • Cash Back: A redemption method that allows you to use your points to receive cash back on your card account.
  • Points Balance: This refers to the total number of points a customer accumulates through purchases made with their credit card. The balance displayed on the monthly statement reflects the net balance, which is calculated by adding the previous month's balance to the newly earned points. 


  • Customers can earn Mokafaaty points exclusively through purchase transactions made with their credit card. Transactions that do not qualify for earning points include Cash withdrawal transactions, SADAD payment transactions, and cash transfers from credit card to current account, and cash transfer from credit card to current account and funding electronic wallets, and GAZT, Charities, Government payments , charities, utilities, SADAD payment transactions, fund transfer from cards and cash withdrawals, funding electronic wallets, Auto dealers transactions, and  Petrol stations transactions, education and telecom.
  • If the customer returns a purchased item or cancels the purchase transaction, the points earned against such a transaction will also be reversed.
  • Customer cannot earn points for any charges on Cash Back credit card including profit margin charges or balances transferred from another credit card or account.
  • Points will be calculated and credited to the customer points’ balance on a monthly basis when the card monthly statement is issued. The updated points’ net balance will appear in the statement. Customer must have at least SR100 worth of points to use in order to redeem.
  • In case of any error in the points balance shown in the card monthly statement, the customer must report the error to BAJ via the Call Center or by visiting any of BAJ branches within fourteen (14) days of the statement issuance date as stated in Clause 1.4.
  • In case of any invalid transactions for which cash back points have been earned, any such points will be reversed.
  • The Bank is unable to provide points for transactions performed using another payment method other than the Cash Back credit card, as a result of the failure of any machine or system. 
  • Any purchase transaction made by the supplementary cardholder will also earn points and these points will be credited to the account of the primary cardholder and added to the balance. 
  • Points earned on transactions that the Bank believes, at its sole discretion, are related to business expenditure or out of pattern spending by the primary and or supplementary cardholder will be deleted from the balance once there is proof this has taken place.
  • If the card is blocked by the bank, then any points earned prior to blocking can only be used when the card is unblocked.
  • Customer acknowledges that the use of cash back credit card is for his / her own personal transactions, and any use of the card in any other transactions by the customer or by others will be considered as misuse of the card, and will give the bank the right to cancel the card and /or will not allow the customer to earn points or use any of cash back credit card privileges.
  • The Bank shall not be held liable in case of incorrect merchant classification at the point of sales, resulting in the failure to award points of the particular transaction due to the incorrect classification.

  • Only the available Mokafaaty balance which appears in the monthly statement will be redeemable. 
  • The earned points must be at least worth the value of SR100 and multiples of SR100 to be redeemed. 
  • If the customer misses a payment for 30+ days, he/she will be ineligible to earn points for new purchase transactions, and the earned points will be non-redeemable till the customer pays the full outstanding amount. 
  • If the customer misses payment for 90+ days, he/she will be ineligible to earn points for new purchase transactions, and the earned points will be cancelled. In case the customer pays the full outstanding amount and the card is re-activated, the cancelled points balance will remain cancelled and will not be credited to the card account.
  • Earned points are not transferable to other accounts. 
  • If the card is cancelled either by the customer or the bank, all earned points will be non-redeemable.
  • The minimum number of points that customer is allowed to redeem is ten thousand points worth SR100 for cash back or a voucher.
  • BAJ gives no warranty or guarantee to the quality, condition or suitability of any goods or services, or benefits provided by merchants or any other service provider for the voucher that the customer has chosen for the points.
  • BAJ shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage, or claims that the customer suffered as a result of using the points including but not limited to that caused by any merchant or any other service provider.
  • Points’ redemptions are always subject to BAJ approval, BAJ terms and conditions, and the availability of the points balance at the time of redemption. 
  • The customer is not allowed to cancel an issued voucher or return it to BAJ for a refund.
  • The bank delivers the voucher to the customer via express mail or through any of the BAJ branches. The bank is not responsible for reimbursing any lost vouchers after it has been received by the customer from the bank.
  • The customer is entitled to give the voucher to any other person for redemption.
  • The voucher value, the terms of using the voucher, and the validation period varies among vouchers, and this is determined by the merchant. The customer should request all this information from BAJ call center prior to issuing the voucher.
  • The customer acknowledges that once the voucher is issued, then the customer relationship becomes direct with the merchant or service provider and BAJ is not responsible for the services. Any enquiries or disputes should be addressed directly with the merchant or service provider that the customer selects.
  • The earned points will expire after two years from the earned date. .
  • The bank reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time and the customer will be notified 30 days prior to the implementation via SMS or in the monthly statement or any other communication channels. The changes are applicable starting from the date they are published, and in case of any conflict or disagreement about these Terms and Conditions, the dispute will be directed to the right judicial authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a ruling.
  • Customer confirms that he/she has carefully read, understood and agreed with the details of the Terms and Conditions of Cash Back Credit Card points clarified in this document. 
  • These Terms and Conditions are additional to the Terms and Conditions of “Cash Back” Credit Card Agreement which regulates issuance of BAJ credit cards, and any other terms and conditions passed by BAJ from time to time regarding credit cards.  In case of any conflict, Terms and Conditions of Cash Back Credit Card Agreement will supersede Mokafaaty Points Terms and Conditions. 
  • The Arabic language is the authorized language in interpreting and executing this agreement. If there is any discrepancy between Arabic and English text, the Arabic text prevails.
